We knew after Emily’s bridal session that her wedding was going to be absolutely stunning, but our imagination didn’t even compare to the real thing. Le Jardin is such a stunning venue. This was the first time we have photographed there in true spring… and it was absolutely unreal. If you remember how rain almost stopped Emily and Robby’s engagement and bridal sessions, you might have been crossing your fingers with us that the rain would leave their wedding day alone… and it did! They had the best weather, and a beautiful wedding day!
Emily and Robby were planning on a tighter timeline at the temple, so they used our family portrait shot list. They chose to make it their own by breaking up some of the family portraits. Some family portraits were done at the temple, and some were done at Le Jardin before their wedding reception. This was a really unique idea and we loved it. It allowed the couple to spend some extra time together, and get more portraits at their reception venue.
The venue they chose, Le Jardin, was really special to them, so having extra portraits there was a perfect choice for them. You know we love when couples choose to make their wedding day their own. Plus, the tight timeline meant things were super efficient at the temple, and they still were able to get a lot of great couple portraits (which they did, because the Bountiful temple is beautiful!) without using all the time for family portraits.
After finishing up at the temple, everyone headed down to Le Jardin where they had planned a beautiful indoor/outdoor wedding reception complete with custom Italian sodas made by the bride’s brothers and served in the garden.
The arbor at Le Jardin with purple Wisteria was in full bloom, and the perfect backdrop for a few more couple and family portraits before the reception. The bride and groom had so many comments from the guests at the reception about how perfect the gardens were, and we got some stunning couples portraits of the two of them that are some of my absolute favorite Le Jardin portraits.
Emily and Robby were such a pleasure to work with. We loved them, we loved their families and we are so happy for them as they get to start their journey together.
