I met Kennedie and Tyler at the Utah Valley Bridal show this spring. They were there to check out Sleepy Ridge, which was Kennedie’s dream wedding venue. We chatted a little bit about her vision for her wedding day, and I knew immediately that we would be a great fit and I was hoping that I would get to work with them on their wedding day.
I was thrilled when Kennedie reached out to get more information and schedule a consultation call, and had the best time chatting with her. I’m so glad that I get to work with Kennedie and Tyler, and their Jordan Pines engagement session did not disappoint.
Tyler is from Colorado, and Kennedie is from Seattle. We squeezed in their Jordan Pines engagement session before they flew out to California for two weeks for work, the same evening we did their engagement portraits. The timing couldn’t have been better, and I’m so glad we were able to photograph Kennedie and Owen before they left. These images are some of my very favorites from Jordan Pines.
The day that the engagement session was scheduled, I looked out my hotel room window to see BIG, DARK clouds moving in. After chatting for a while, we decided to reschedule to sunrise the next morning.
They started in a perfect formal outfit. Kennedie had an adorable white dress and Tyler wore a classy white button up shirt that really popped alongside the greenery at Jordan Pines campground. Tyler is a shoe guy, so their second outfit included matching Nikes that they are going to wear on their wedding day for dancing. How fun is that?? We always love a matching Nike moment.
Hope you love these photos as much as I do. We can’t wait to work with Kennedie and Tyler in August for their bridal session and Sleepy Ridge wedding.
