Kate & Adam’s Manor Estate Wedding in Fresno, California

There’s something so fitting about a wedding at The Manor Estate in Fresno. Grand white columns draped in soft fabric, manicured gardens bursting with crepe myrtle, and just enough Southern-mansion charm to make you forget you’re in the heart of California’s Central Valley. Kate and Adam’s wedding day leaned into all of it, with a bright citrus color palette of peach, coral, and blush that carried through everything from the bouquet to the paper lanterns strung above the reception tables.

The First Look

Kate & Adam decided to share a first look prior to the ceremony, and we made the most of The Manor Estate’s dramatic architecture. The sheer fabric draped between white columns framed her from the front steps, her cathedral veil catching the breeze as she and Adam shared a quiet moment beneath the flowering trees lining the estate’s garden paths. Her bouquet of peach zinnias, blush roses, and creamy ranunculus tied the citrus palette together from the very first photo of the day. I was in awe all day long… It truly felt like the Manor Estate was made for Kate’s wedding day.

Pro Tip: draped sheer fabric between columns turns any porch or entryway into an editorial-style bridal photo backdrop.

The Bridal Party: Bright Colors & Parasols

Kate and Adam provided parasols for their guests… because a California wedding in June is bound to be warm. We used these for some fun bridal party portraits, and it totally paid off. The white parasols contrasted the bright colored bridal party gowns so well, and made for the most fun portraits!

The Ceremony: Featuring a Live String Quartet

We love an intimate ceremony, and this one did not disappoint. The guests held parasols, and the bride and groom were perfectly framed by the draping at the Manor Estate. Kate’s siblings played in a string quartet throughout, and it added the most classic touch to the day.

The Reception: Paper Lanterns and Citrus Tones

As evening fell, the reception came alive under strings of peach and cream paper lanterns, with tables set in citrus-toned linens, tapered candles, and loose garden florals. Kate and Adam shared a quiet, forehead-to-forehead moment at their table during the toasts, a small pause in the middle of all the celebration, that ended up being one of my favorite images of the day.
