It’s no secret that I love photographing in rural Idaho, but this spot in Emmett is truly my all time favorite. It’s where I really fell in love with photography as a teenager, and has been a go-to location for me since I was 17. When Kara told me she wanted a neutral location, but also wanted some elements of a “view,” I knew this would be the perfect location for their Idaho bridal portraits.
We started their session with a first look and portraits in the field, then headed over to the waterfall for the end of the session. A soft, smoky sunset (an Idaho summer staple) painted the foothills pink and purple, which made for some absolutely stunning portraits.
