I feel like I need to start this blog post by saying how much I absolutely LOVE blended family weddings. If you have been around long, you know that what we love most about weddings are the sentimental, intentional moments for families. Blended family weddings are ALWAYS full of beautiful moments, and it’s such an honor to be a part of them.

Ryan and Darcy’s River Bottoms Ranch wedding was no exception. Ryan and Darcy had a beautiful love story. They found each other after Ryan’s wife passed away and Darcy had left an unhealthy relationship. It is clear to see how healing their love is for each other, AND for their children.

It was important to Ryan and Darcy to include their children in all parts of their celebration. My personal favorite choice they made was to have each child walk down the aisle with a single white rose. During their ceremony, the kids each came up to Darcy and gave her the rose, then Darcy and Ryan tied it together into a beautiful bouquet. Cue ALL the happy tears.
