Fiona and Shane are so much fun! Fiona wanted a color filled wedding, and her bold pink and purple color scheme came together so well-even tying in with the pink and purple gemstones on her custom engagement ring.
All of the wood bouquets were hand dyed to fit the color scheme by the bride and her bridesmaids. Fiona had a clear vision of an ethereal, fairytale inspired wedding and fell in love with the Bungalow at Pleasant Grove immediately. It was the perfect venue for her vision to come to life.
Fiona and Shane requested two specific photography trends that I hadn’t done yet and I absolutely loved both of them. The first was to have an individual portrait with each guest who came through the line. Our team always brings two photographers to each wedding, so we were able to have one photographer stationed near the line with Fiona and Shane in order to grab a formal portrait with them and each guest, while another photographer was capturing the candid moments of the reception. This was so much fun and a great way for them to be able to remember all of the people who came to their reception.
The second photo trend they requested was the “pass the sunglasses” dancing trend and we absolutely loved this. (View the final product here!) This was the one of the most fun things I’ve ever photographed on a dance floor because it allowed all of the guests to get interactive show their personalities and gave guest who wouldn’t have normally danced a reason to get on the dance floor.
Fiona and Shane’s wedding was SO much fun!
