Bothell, Washington Wedding – Summer

The ideal wedding timeline for anyone wanting to plan a family centered wedding day with a lot of down time!

We were so excited to come back to the Seattle area for Megan and Spencer’s Bothell, Washington wedding day! Megan planned a beautiful wedding day that was totally centered around spending quality time with their friends and family. They wanted their wedding to be an experience for all of their guests. But beyond just being an experience, they truly wanted to be able to spend time with the people they loved the most. This was so clear in how they planned their timeline.

(If you are wanting to plan a similar wedding that gives you a lot of time with the people you love, let’s chat about timelines. I would love to share Megan and Spencer’s timeline with you because it was so great!)

After Megan got ready with her bridesmaids, we headed to a park to meet up for family bridal party portraits and for Megan and Spencer to share a first look. After their first look, Megan and Spencer provided food and drinks, like a little brunch in the park for all of the bridal party and family. It was so much fun, and honestly a really great way for everyone to get eased into the wedding day before having to show up at the church and be in a stressful situation. It was amazing to watch all of the bridal party have so much fun. We were not in a rush for portraits so we were able to get everything done without feeling any stress or anxiety during those moments.

The bridal party and family headed to the church where they were going to get ready for the ceremony, while we did some couples portraits with Megan and Spencer. After Megan and Spencer headed to the church, we had a family dinner catered by Chick-Fil-A. The couple spent about an hour with family and friends before the ceremony began, as the guests were arriving for the nontraditional cocktail hour. Megan and Spencer’s ceremony was ultimately Christ focused, which was a beautiful representation of their relationship and the importance of the Savior to them. Megan and Spencer are very religious and have a beautiful relationship that is rooted in their love of God and God’s plan for them.

Megan and Spencer celebrated throughout the evening with intimate toasts from family and friends, and then of course a dance party and sparkler send off! We loved getting to come out to Bothell, Washington with Megan and Spencer for their wedding day.
