When we knew we would have 1 extra evening on our team trip to Zion, Halie suggested offering to do Veronika & Adam’s bridal session down there without a travel fee. We had no idea just how perfect it would be until we were driving through the canyon, watching the sun tuck behind the clouds for the perfectly soft lighting that was just what we needed!
Shooting in Zion National Park can be challenging. There are always a LOT of people to work around, and there is almost always a hike. We met at the base of the hike, and headed up the trail, toting a bridal gown, dress shoes, allll the camera gear, bouquet, suit, and our handy changing tent. We got lots of “congratulations,” “y’all have your hands full,” and a few confused looks, but we carried on. When we got to the top, after taking a few minutes to take in the view (aka, catch our breath), we popped up the changing tent and got ready for a first look! As Veronika was getting dressed, her mom filled us in on all the details. Her aunt had HAND-MADE the dress, and finished around midnight the day they left for St. George. Veronika stepped out of the tent, and our jaws dropped. It was BEYOND perfect.
We truly had the most magical evening with Veronika and Adam. I could say SO much more, but for now, I’ll just let you enjoy the images!
