Hilary and Kyle came with their family and friends all the way from California for a Zion Red Rock wedding, and a stunning Zion National Park family session. They chose to stay at Zion Red Rock (such a great option for families coming into the area, and SO event friendly), and used one of our favorite southern Utah wedding planners, Poppy Lane Events.
From the beginning, Hilary and Kyle wanted to have a wedding day that was centered around their family-Hilary has 2 kids, and celebrating their new blended family was a top priority. Their vision came to life perfectly.
Hilary’s son started the reception by singing a song, and there was not a dry eye in the room. There’s truly nothing like an outdoor summer wedding, especially in southern Utah, and Hilary and Kyle’s wedding day was no exception. We got together the next morning to head into the national park to take family portraits. Hilary and Kyle hired a tour service, which was amazing, because we were able to go to parts of the park that are not open/easy to access for regular tourists. It was so much fun to get to know Hilary and Kyle and their family that day. My favorite detail from Hilary and Kyle‘s wedding was the hand-made pots that they used as decor. Hilary‘s mom handcrafted over 100 little individual pots, and they planted the sweetest flowers in each pot to use as decor (that’s right, all of the plants you see in the images were in hand-crafted pots). They then gave one to each guest as their wedding favor. It was such a personal and sweet gift, and so unique! I couldn’t believe how much time she had put into making each of these pots.
I hope you enjoy this gallery, and we look forward to many more weddings at Zion red rock.
