Ashton Gardens was the perfect setting for Lindsey + Spencer’s classy bridal session.
Lindsey and Spencer had booked The Loggia at Thanksgiving Point as their wedding venue, and when you book with them, you get a free photo pass for a session at Ashton Gardens, so Lindsey and Spencer decided to use that for their first look and bridal session!
Ashton Gardens is one of our favorite locations for bridal sessions, and we absolutely love getting to photograph there. The only difficult thing about Ashton Gardens is the sheer size of the location. I consider it a must to add on a golf cart rental at this location, especially for a bridal session. When you’re in your bridal gear, it is so much easier to have a golf cart, and it is totally worth the cost. If you are wanting to start your session with a first look, we typically have the groom ride in the front of the golf cart, and we put the bride on the back so that he doesn’t see her.
If you’re going to bring along parents or friends to your bridal session, remember you will have to pay admission for each person who comes, and the golf cart really only seats four, so we may have to do multiple trips if you’ll be having extra people with you. I know I have mentioned this before in other posts, but my favorite spot is the rose garden, especially when the roses are in bloom. The large, half circle arbor is the perfect for framing and composition of your images, and it just makes photos dreamy! Lindsey and Spencer‘s classy wedding style was perfectly suited by Ashton Gardens, especially the marble Gazebo. Their sitting portraits could rival Harry and Meghan‘s. To die for!
