Jewel Basin, Montana Destination Wedding

It took us about 5 minutes to fall in love with Montana after arriving in Kalispell for Jenna & TJ’s fall Jewel Basin Destination Wedding. It was a chilly October morning that turned into a gorgeous fall afternoon, where leaves fell from the trees throughout the day and proved there is nothing more magical than fall in Montana.

Jenna and TJ came from Southern California (hauling the unique circular arbor TJ made himself) to tie the knot in a remote location and IT WAS PERFECT. ✨ Their family and friends joined them, traveling from across the country to spend an intimate weekend in Montana.

I’m a firm believer that your wedding should be done EXACTLY how you want it to be done. At its core, a wedding is a union of two people, two families, two hearts and this Jewel Basin wedding day absolutely defined this for me.

Jenna & TJ’s wedding day wasn’t in any rush and didn’t include any traditions the couple wasn’t interested in. They knew their guests were coming from all over the country, and decided to take them to a place they loved and spend the weekend celebrating together. 🤍

When Jenna headed into the girls cabin on the wedding morning, she found a note TJ had written for her on the back of a photo featuring him and their 2 year old daughter, Reagan. It was the perfect moment to get to take a breath and get ready to head into the ceremony. As guests arrived to Jewel Basin Weddings on a vintage trolley, they were greeted by the beautiful landscape and mingled as family and friends.

Jenna’s brother officiated the ceremony with unique and thoughtful insights, specific to Jenna, TJ, and Reagan, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Then, they danced down the aisle (and I don’t think they stopped dancing until the end of the night)!
